Great restoration - Edward restored my violin after I found it cracked within its case. He did beautiful job and the violin is totally restored. He was friendly and approachable especially in comparison to other shops like the Bristol violin shop. He was also competitive. I would always go straight back to Edward now without seeking other quotes. He is a serious workman who I can't recommend highly enough

Edward Gaut Violins - Edward Gaut is the best re-hairer I have come across. I live miles away but always post my fine bows to him as I trust no other. My frog is curved at the base which others have struggled with. Edward always does a fantastic neat job with wonderful quality hair. He understands the need for a speedy service and sends my bows back in super quick time! I really can't recommend him enough!
