Bristol Choral Society is a large auditioned mixed-voice choir that stages at least four concerts per year at the Colston Hall and Bristol Cathedral.
The choir performs with professional orchestras and soloists (such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Emma Johnson and Mark Padmore in the 2011-12 concert season), under conductor Adrian Partington.
Exultate Singers, a choir of 40 accomplished singers, was founded by David Ogden in September 2002. It has given more than 110 concerts, several more radio broadcasts and has appeared on BBC television. The choir has recorded two CDs and gives regular concerts in Bristol, most frequently in St George's Bristol, St James' Priory, Clifton College Chapel and the Colston Hall.
